Isn’t it funny that often some of the most important stuff we write in scribbles, on random pieces of paper, later to be found as we randomly go through things…
If you’re like me, you might write something so meaningful, so inspiring, so important to your life and soul, only to forget about it…You write it hoping that you will post a blog about it, commit it to memory, tell people about your realization, or just smile at the wisdom you gained and pray for it’s application.
As I was flipping through a stack of blank pages I keep to study on and…by the way, I don’t memorize unless I write something a million and one times, and often, I don’t have time for that, so I always forget…Anyways, as I was flipping through the stack of paper I found one with some notes on it I had taken during Ilm Fest from a session by sheikh Yaser Birjas I believe. It served as the ultimate best reminder for me right now…Hope you find these lines of benefit too inshaAllah…
~ A sin that brings you closer to Allah azza wa jal is better than a good deed that makes you arrogant
~ Be better in other areas of your life while you perfect and work on the weaker areas
~ Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala wants to see us strive
~ Use the sins to form a relationship of humility and causative to do good ands strive
~ Whoever obeys -> ultimate victory
~ And best of all, I leave you with this powerful and very encouraging and motivating verse:
“قل يا عبادي الذين أسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا إنه هو الغفور ارحيم”
Qul ya AAibadiya allatheena asrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi inna Allaha yaghfiru alththunooba jameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu
39:53 Say: “O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
